Media NAS / Servers - How to : Change Boot Order (Asus Boards)

IntroductionThis document describes how to change / restore the boot order on your Media NAS / Server with an Asus mainboard.
Applies toThis article is applicable for supported Media Systems as listed here:
Prerequisite
- Connect a Keyboard, monitor, and mouse to the unit
- Start this procedure with the unit powered off
Procedure- Power on your system, and start tapping on the DELETE (DEL) Key on your keyboard at the same time
- Eventually, you'll see the BIOS screen as seen below.
If prompted, enter the BIOS password (Check your email for this information) - Using the mouse or RIGHT arrow key, select the BOOT tab

- Once we're on the BOOT tab, scroll all the way down, until you see HARD DRIVE BBS Priorities (as shown below)
- Press ENTER on your keyboard to select this option

- You'll see a list of "Boot Option #" devices.
- Select the item listed as BOOT OPTION #1 (which is the first Boot device)
- Choose the only 2TB drive in the setup - its size will be approximately 1907729 MB.

- After this is done, press F10 to SAVE the settings.
- Press Y for YES if prompted to do so.
- The system should now boot normally as expected.
